Edith Anne "Edie" (Allgood) Phelps, 60 of Holden, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 28, 2019 at her home.

Edie was born August 12, 1959 in Holden, daughter of James F. and Maxine F. (Stewart) Allgood.  She graduated from Holden High School, Class of 77.  She was employed at King Louie in Grandview for several years.  For the past thirty plus years, Edie had worked for Holden Embroidery.  She loved to sew and do other crafts.  She also enjoyed cooking and Edie loved everybody's kids.

Survivors include her daughter: Jamie Wilcox (Paden) of Springfield, MO; brother: Russell Allgood (Karen) of Holden, MO; sister-in-law: Kim Allgood of Holden, MO; four nieces and nephews: Craig Allgood of Green City, MO; Lauren Kirchhoff (Tim) of Concordia, MO; Jake Allgood (Lea) of Holden, MO and Diana Yearout (Clifford) of Lincoln, MO; and a herd of great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Ed Allgood.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 2 ^nd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with Pastor Mike Wakeman of New Life Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow at the Centerview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
