Duane E. Pierce, 55 of Warrensburg, Missouri; formerly of Deepwater and Clinton passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Duane Edward Pierce was born November 8, 1965 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Donald Kerry Pierce and Patricia Ruth (Collins) Pierce.  He graduated from high school in Phoenix, Arizona.  He was united in marrige to Leigh E. Brown on August 12, 1989 in Wichita.  The couple resided in Grandview for several years, prior to moving to the Deepwater / Clinton area for twenty years.  He had just recently relocated to Warrensburg.  Duane was a restaurant cook by trade.  He was devoted Chiefs fan and he enjoyed Marvel-DC comics.  Duane also enjoyed camping and fishing.  He especially loved family camping trips to Eminence, Missouri.

Survivors include three daughters: Kayce Jones (Bradley) of Butler, MO; Lauren Mynatt (Joseph) of Knoxville, TN and Whitney Hollinger of Berryville, AR; son: Gary Pierce of Warrensburg, MO; sister: Kathryne Pierce Willis of Wichita, KS and four grandchildren: Colson Terry, Avery Mynatt, Adleigh Mynatt and Nola Lucas.

There will be no services scheduled at this time.

Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
