Doris G. McCumber, 99 of Warrensburg, Missouri; formerly of Raytown passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Doris was born January 7, 1920 at Carrollton, Missouri, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Henderson) Fears.  She graduated from Carrollton High School.  On February 7, 1942, she was united in marriage to Norman Dale McCumber at Carrollton.  The couple lived in Independence for a brief time prior to moving to Rhode Island because of Norman's military service.  They eventually returned to Raytown and Doris started working at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City. In 2009, the couple moved to Warrensburg.  Doris' hobbies included oil painting and collecting antiques.  She was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Raytown.

Survivors include niece: Beth Spena (Mark) of Oklahoma City, OK; two nephews: David VanBlarcum (Robin) of Warrensburg, MO and Andrew VanBlarcum (Kathy) of Oak Creek, CO.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2010; and two sisters: Jean Ostermeyer and Anita VanBlarcum.

There will be a private graveside service at the Higginsville City Cemetery.
