Doris I. Brown, 90 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at The Arbors Memory Care in Warrensburg.

Doris was born January 18, 1931 in Warrensburg, daughter of Henry W. and Cecil M. (Penny) Lehnert.  She was a Warrensburg High School graduate, Class of 48.  She was united in marriage to Albert A. Brown on November 1, 1951 in Folkston, Georgia.  In the 1950s, Doris was an operator with United Telephone.  After raising her children, she was a Department Manager for Walmart and retired after 22 years of service. She was a longtime member of Church of The Brethren.  She was also a member of Royal Neighbors, S.O.S. and Hickory Grove Club.

Survivors include three daughters: Gloria J. Brown of Warrensburg, MO; Sandra K. Hubbard of Kansas City, MO and Brenda S. Morris (Doug) of The Villages, FL; three grandchildren: Shon M. Shumate, Lucas A. Morris and Taylor J. C. Morris and three great grandchildren: Emilio N. Shumate, Roman A. Shumate and Vanity J. Shumate.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1998 and sister, Donna Lorene.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Pearl Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg. Pallbearers will be Doug Morris, Lucas Morris, Taylor Morris and Gloria Brown.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Thursday at the funeral home.
