Donna Mae
Mitsdarffer
Jul 28, 1935 — Feb 25, 2025
Donna Mae (Andrews) Mitsdarffer, 89 of Warrensburg, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, after a brief illness.
Donna was born July 28, 1935 in Villa Grove, Illinois, daughter of Cletus and Marguerite (Bocock) Andrews. She grew up in Villa Grove, Illinois and graduated from Villa Grove High School in 1954. Donna was united in marriage to Paul John Mitsdarffer on April 25, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She had been a laboratory and x-ray technician for several years earlier in her life, working in hospitals and clinics in Illinois and in Tucson. She and Paul attended and were active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warrensburg for many years. They loved meeting their friends at the Elks Club often, and cooking for others they welcomed in their home. Over the years, she was a quilter and beautiful seamstress and an avid reader of many genres. After losing Paul, her best times were spending time with her family and close friends. Donna was a quiet, sweet soul, whose fun and playful side came out when she was with family and close friends. She was very loved by all her family, and she loved them all very much. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by sister: Linda Morrison (Steven) of Tucson, AZ; Michael Andrews (Jana), of lowa City; IA; Ian Andrews of Cedar Rapids, IA; Joseph Comstock (Melissa), Mesa, AZ; Jeanie Hines (Scott), Whidbey Island, WA; Beverly Weakly, Moweaqua, IL; Amber Allen of Milwaukee, IL; and David Allen of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her special, loving friends, Kenneth and Susan Smarr of Chilowee, MO. They were always there to give her love and support for many years. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother: Charles Andrews; sister: Brenda Andrews; nephew: Mark Andrews; and niece: Kathryn Allen.
