Donald E. Corwin, aged 75, of Holden, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas.

Don was born November 1, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Maxwell Freeland Corwin and Alta Pearl (Wilson) Corwin.  He was raised in Holden.  He graduated from Holden High School and served in the United States Air Force. On May 19, 1984, Don married Patricia "Diane" Hall in Kansas City. Don worked for many years at Hallmark before retiring and later served as a bus driver for the Crest Ridge School District for 16 years. He was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Holden and a passionate sports fan, especially of football.

Don is survived by his brother, David Corwin and wife Kari of Clinton, MO; his sister, Sherri LaFavor and husband Brad of Calhoun, MO; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved fur baby, Arlo. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane and two sons, Steven and Scott.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1st, at the Holden Cemetery with Pastor John Christy officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Munday - Hancock Post #90 of the American Legion, and VFW - Memorial Post #5844.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Holden First Baptist Church in care of Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden
