Don Wadell Zink, 72 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his farm.

Don was born January 23, 1951 in Warrensburg, the son of Don Nicholas Zink and Lucy Agnes (Fuller) Zink. He graduated from Warrensburg High School.  He was united in marriage to Violet "Lorene" Nichol on September 18, 1971 in Warrensburg.  Don served in the U. S. Army before returning to Warrensburg.  He would then spend the next 34 years, employed with the Dept. of Defense at Whiteman Air Force Base.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and most anything to do with his farm.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Lorene; daughter: Angie Twenge (Karl) of Beaufort, SC; son: William Nicholas "Nick" Zink (Karen) of Warrensburg, MO; four grandchildren: Augustus Twenge, Winston Twenge, Sydney Zink and Savannah Zink; and sister: Mary Sue Norris of Warrensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Nick, Neal, Dean in infancy and Jess; and two sisters: Ana Lou Zink and Greta Loehr.

Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Sid Tiller of Northside Christian Church officiating.

There will be a private interment at the Knob Noster Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be left to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
