Cynthia Sue Miller, 62 of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Cynthia was born May 28, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri; daughter of Alva Homer West and Elinor Marie (Cousins) West.  She graduated from Oak Park High School in Gladstone.  She married Ted Miller in June of 1978.  In the early 1980's, Cynthia moved to Leavenworth.  She catered for the Officer's Club at Ft. Leavenworth as well as for many other places throughout the years.  She also worked for Eckerd Pharmacy at one time.  Cynthia loved cooking, fishing and camping.  She also bowled for several years.  She was also an avid Chiefs Fan.

Survivors include son: David Miller of Leavenworth, KS; daughter: Melissa (Derrick) Johnson of Kansas City, MO; and sister: Diana (Art) Fox of Colorado and Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Michelle.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Rev. Al Wolfe of Bethel Tabernacle in Lansing, Kansas officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Holden.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Sunday at the funeral home.
