Bruce Rankin Norton, 62 of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.

Bruce was born June 13, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Walter E. and Gwyanetha J. (Stockton) Norton.  He graduated from Raytown High School and attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar.  Bruce was united in marriage to Teresa A. Thompson on June 29, 1984 in Rolla, Missouri.  In 1986, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he'd make a career.  The military took the couple all over the United States and abroad.  Following his military service, Bruce served as a regional manager for ACS, Harlan Industries and later, Neovia Logistics.  He was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan.  In years past, he coached youth sports.  Bruce was very family oriented.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Teresa; two daughters: Amie Norton of Manhattan, KS and Whitney Norton of Lake Jackson, TX; son: Brett Norton (Rachel) of Sedalia, MO; two sisters: Cinda Anderson (Bill) of Lake Lotawanna, MO and Kim Naylor (Randy) of Lee's Summit, MO; and four grandchildren: Joseph, Aryanna, Reagan and Benjamin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 12 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with interment to follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville with full Military Honors.
