Bobby Linn Nussbaum lost his battle with Lewy Body Dementia on Friday, May 23, 2025. He passed away peacefully at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Warrensburg MO surrounded by his loved ones.
Bobby was born on September 21, 1942 in Warrensburg, son of Linn John and Stattie Gauchat Nussbaum. He grew up on a farm north of Leeton MO. He moved to the Kansas City area as a teenager to find work. He was employed at Remington Arms and R.B. Rice's meat packing company until it closed. He hunted arrowheads throughout his life. He loved to hunt deer and especially turkey. During his retirement he was well known in the community for working on lawn mowers and small engines. He enjoyed visiting with friends at the coffee shop and the local Casey's store. Bobby would often help friends with farming, working cattle or just whatever needed to be done. He enjoyed many vacations with family and friends. Bobby loved giving the grandkids rides around the yard on his lawn mower. He went to the Flea Market in Kansas City most Sundays with his brother Vernon.
