Barbara Joan Lewis, 81 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Barbara was born May 12, 1939 in Scranton, PA; daughter of Joseph and Isaboul (Jeneski) Trusan.  She graduated from Dunmore High School in Dunmore, PA.  On March 1, 1960, she was united in marriage to Thomas W. Lewis in Dunmore, where they made their home.  The couple moved to Richmond, MO in 1977.  Barb has resided in Warrensburg since 2002.  She was employed with several different types of businesses throughout the years, notably, serving in a financial capacity.  She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gambling, scrapbooking and watching the Home Shopping Network.  Her hobbies also included crossword puzzles and card games.

Survivors include her daughter: Sharon Lillard of Warrensburg, MO; son: David Lewis (Rebecca) of Parkville, MO; sister: Ann Kosydar of Union Springs, NY; brother: Joseph Trusan (Jocelyn) of New Mexico; seven grandchildren: Tommy Lewis, David Lewis, Whitney Lewis, Megan Lewis, Jessica Vachon, Jennifer Lillard – Laufer and Haley Lillard; and fourteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas and son, Thomas.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Sid Tiller officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg. Pallbearers will be Tommy Lewis, David Lewis, Jr., Tim Boyle, Tim Laufer, Jim Lamont and Steve Hertzig.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Johnson County Cancer Foundation in care of the funeral home.
