Barbara Lee (Strutton) Lacy, 75 of LaMonte, Missouri formerly of Poway, California passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Warrensburg.

Barbara was born August 11, 1945 in Boston, MA the daughter of Charles T. and Eleanor A. (Eklund) Strutton.  She graduated from high school in Poway, CA and received her Master's Degree from USIU in San Diego.  She was married to David Austin Lacy, Sr. on September 4, 1965 in Poway.  The couple resided in Texas, San Diego, Phoenix and Los Angeles prior to moving to Poway.  She moved to LaMonte in 2000.  Barb enjoyed reading, adult coloring, geneology and most of all, caring for her family.

Survivors include her daughter: Debbie Baker and Thad of LaMonte, MO; son: David Lacy and Judy of Warrensburg, MO; two grandchildren: Samantha Lacy and Tyler Lacy, both of Warrensburg, MO; four siblings: Betty Graham of Warrensburg, MO; Robert Strutton and Theresa of Hemet, CA; Randy Strutton of Fresno, CA and Bonnie Little and Jim of Hemet, CA; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Gathering: will be scheduled at a later date, with the ashes eventually to be scattered in the ocean.
