Artela S. Sana, 61 of Sedalia passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

Artela was born June 15, 1964 in Chuuk, Micronesia, daughter of Taichy Sony and Sester Yleisa.

Artela came from an extremely conservative family. despite her being an only child. her life and the way she lived was strong. Artela never had childrens of her own but was a mother to all.

Her house was home for everyone. She brought so much joy and  laughter to many families that came across her. her legacy of love will forever live on in our hearts.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the International Church of Micronesia in La Monte, Missouri. Interment will follow at the Knob Noster Cemetery.

Visitation will be held starting at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at the church.
