Arleen Sirom Mefy 68 of Marshall, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at University Hospital in Columbia.

Arleen was born August 17, 1956 in Nema, Chuuk State; Federated State of Micronesia, daughter of Luther Sirom and Tako (Tom) Sirom.  She was united in marriage to Jackry Itoshy Mefy.  In 2002, the couple moved from Micronesia to Honolulu, Hawaii for medical treatment for Jackry.  In 2024, Arleen moved to Marshall, to live with her daughter.  She was residing with her daughter at the time of her passing.

Survivors include two daughters: Efrin Mefy and Mefleen Mefy; six sons: Jeffy Mefy, Mefy Mefy, Little Mef Mefy, Molle Mefy, Ogden Mefy and Jacksin Mefy; three sisters: Lister Sirom, Miler Sirom and Mine Sirom Raed; two brothers: Tuter Sirom and Lainer Sirom; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Titer Sirom; three sisters: Miter Sirom, Oirin Sirom Fred and Airis Sirom Martin.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm on Saturday February 15th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, with the Funeral Service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., visitation will resume from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. She will be flown from the United States to Micronesia for burial.
