Archie Lee Britt, 73 of Warsaw, Missouri; formerly of independence passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Archie was born October 21, 1949 in Dora, Missouri the son of Roy and Edith (Collins) Britt.  He was raised in Graff, Missouri.  He was employed at Stone Containers in Kansas City for forty years.  Stone Containers is where Archie would meet the love of his life, Joyce.  He was united in marriage to Joyce Elaine Dills on August 24, 1985 in Independence. Upon retiring, the couple moved near Warsaw.  He was an avid fisherman and he loved hunting.  You just couldn't keep the man indoors and he was always on the go.  Archie also enjoyed mowing and helping his neighbors whenever needed.  He was a huge Western Movie fan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Joyce; son: Stephen Britt of Ubana, MO; sister: Kathy Britt of Mountain Grove, MO; five grandchildren: Ashton, Logan, Payton, Landin and Sabastain; and three great grandchildren: Scarlett Jane, Ezra and Jude;   There are also several surviving nieces and nephews including Josh Dujakovich of Independence, MO, who was like a son to the couple. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Chris and two sisters: Lela and Patsy.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled.

There will be a private interment at Salem East Cemetery in Independence at a later date.
