Allen "Mack" Kanoy 80 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his home.

Allen was born September 2, 1944 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of C.A. Kanoy and Ruby (Cunningham) Kanoy.  He was raised in Warrensburg, having graduated from Warrensburg High School.  He attended an auto trade school in Kansas City.  Allen was united in marriage to Gladys F. Jeanneret on July 24, 1965 in Warrensburg.  The couple made their home in Kansas City, Kansas.  He was employed with CertainTeed Fiberglass Manufacturing for the majority of his adult life, retiring in 2006. Allen enjoyed farm work, working on tractors and automobiles, going to auctions and the lake.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Gladys; two sons: Robbie Kanoy (Laura) of Tonganoxie, KS and Charlie Kanoy (Michelle) of Kansas City, KS; his daughter: Cindy Drussell(Todd) of Edgerton, KS; sister: Rose Lee Calhoun of St. Louis, MO; eleven grandchildren: Joey Kanoy, Little Charlie Kanoy, Jacob Olson, Alyssa Olson, Christian Olson, Brannon Kanoy, Jenna Yanez, Skyler Gardner, Mackensi Fruit, Tanner Gardner and Makenna Gardner; as well as fifteen great grandchildren and another on the way. Allen was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Kanoy.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, Missouri. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
