Biography

Pat Arne, 63 of Holden, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Pat was born January 9, 1949 in Norfolk, Virginia daughter of William and Mary E. (Webster) Todd. She graduated from Leeton High School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Chester Arne on March 8, 1969 at the First Christian Church in Warrensburg. Pat lived in Johnson County, Missouri for the majority of her life. She was in Supervisory Management and was a Program Analyst at the National Records Center. She retired from Department of Homeland Security for the Division of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Pat was a devoted member of Elm Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano. Spending time with her family brought her special joy.

Survivors include her husband, Chet; three children: Michelle Dickmeyer and husband, Mark of Sibley, Missouri; Dawn Vermillion and husband, Travis of Kincaid, Kansas and Matthew Arne and wife, Leah of Chilhowee, Missouri; two sisters: Mildred Rhode and husband, Morris of Prairie Home, Missouri and Cheryl Cox and husband, Steve of Independence, Missouri; two brothers: Clyde Webster and wife, Lucy of Smithton, Missouri and Paul Webster of Independence, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; an infant sister, Rebecca Webster and a nephew, Richard Webster.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Elm Springs Baptist Church, north of Kingsville, with Reverend Robin Dale officiating. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery, southeast of Holden. Pallbearers will be Anders Arne, John Webster, Adam Dickmeyer, Kyle Dickmeyer, Jeremy Bates and Brian Bates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dalton Arne, Triston Arne, Codi Vermillion, Truett Vermillion, Nate Rodgers, James Webster and Randy Webster.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Elm Springs Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.

Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden is in charge of arrangements.
