Life Legacy

Juanita L. Angell, 79 of Holden, Missouri passed away Tuesday October 16, 2007 at the Holden Manor Care Center.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday October 19, 2007 at the Carpenter Cemetery near Chilhowee, Missouri with Pastor Larry Marsh of Kingsville Restoration Branch of Jesus Christ Church officiating. Pallbearers will be David Lee Angell, Jeffrey Wayne Miller, Jeffrey Lee Miller, William Ray Seaman, Phillip Pemberton and James Hampton.

Juanita was born August 23, 1928 in Independence, MO, the daughter of Albert E. Sherrill and Ellen Louise (Hamilton) Sherrill. She married Joseph Elmer Angell in 1945 in Independence. Juanita was employed with Barbies Florist in Independence at one time. The couple later resided in Blue Springs for several years prior to moving to Holden in the mid 1970s. Her husband Joe preceded her in death on August 17, 2006 in Holden.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Hampton and her husband, James of Holden; a son, Joseph Lee Angell of Holden; a sister, Millie Hurley of Chilhowee; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, both parents, an infant daughter, Jo Ann; a daughter-in-law, Loretta Lori Angell and a grandson, John Miller.
