Life Legacy
Brandi M. Williams, 36 of rural Holden, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City.
Brandi Michelle Meads was born July 26, 1973 in Warrensburg, Missouri, daughter of Kenneth W. and Patsy G. Hancock Meads. She graduated from the Holden High School. She was united in marriage to John M. Williams on October 1, 1993 in Warrensburg. Brandi was employed at Dr. Turnbows office in Warrensburg at one time. Next, she drove a school bus for the Crest Ridge School District. Later, she was employed at the Red Cross Pharmacy in Oak Grove. Brandi was currently a dispatcher at Brotherton Farms Trucking. She loved going to her childrens rodeos, swimming and riding horses and four wheelers.
Survivors include: her husband, John; a son, Kody and a daughter, Miranda, all of the home; her father and step-mother, Kenny and Beth Meads of Creighton, Missouri; her mother and step-father, Pat and Donnie Calhoun of Holden; a brother, Danny Meads and his wife, Gretchen of Kingsville; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Meads of Warrensburg; paternal step-grandmother, Coleen Huggins of Holden; a step-brother, Jake Kumm of Creighton; three step-sisters: Jenny Cowick and her husband, Phil of Kingsville; Julie Gouveia and her husband, Matt of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rachel Agcopra and her husband, Clint of Frankfurt, Germany; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Shirley Williams of Holden and also numerous nieces and nephews. Brandi was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Felix Meads and maternal grandparents, Floyd and Peggy Hancock.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Reverend Larry Neil of Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackwater Cemetery, located near Pittsville. Pallbearers will be John Williams, Kody Williams, Billy Arnold, John Myrick, Bryan Brotherton, and Danny Meads. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Meads, Donnie Calhoun, Don Williams and Austin Meads.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Kodys and Mirandas college funds in care of the funeral home.
