Charles Edward Allgood, 56 of Holden, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 near Holden.
Ed was born March 19, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of James F. and Maxine F. (Stewart) Allgood. He graduated from Holden High School and attended Central Missouri State University. He served in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1979. Ed was united in marriage to Kimberly J. Craig on March 8, 1980 in Centerview. He was employed at Stahlís Manufacturing for eighteen Years. He was a machinist with R & D Tool & Engineering out of Leeís Summit at the time of his passing. He was a past Master of Holden Masonic Lodge #262. Ed was known for making knives. He also enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing and being in the pit crew at races.
Survivors include his wife, Kim; daughter: Lauren Kirchhoff and husband, Tim of Concordia, MO; son: Craig Allgood of Macon, MO; mother: Maxine Allgood of Holden, MO; granddaughter: Karli Kirchoff of Concordia, MO; brother: Russell Allgood and wife, Karen of Holden, MO; sister: Edie Phelps of Holden, MO; and father and mother in law: Tom and LaJuana Craig of Centerview, MO; He was preceded in death by his father, James.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden
with Rev. Jim Stovall of First Christian Church in Holden officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerview Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Service by Lodge #262.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Corkran, Darrell Callahan, Sam Thomason, Destry Hough, Rex Elkins, Corey Flamm, Ryan Flamm and Jay Frazier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Worley Eagleson, Wayne Carter, Milt Myers, W. B. Fitzgerel, Bill Newman and Bill Briscoe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
